In order to register for EDEN the following personal data must be provided:
- Email Address
- Address (including Town/City, County and Country)
- Section and Position within Organisation
- Landline or Mobile
The following personal data is optional:
- Post Code
Once approved by an organisation administrator a user must provide their Email Address or Username as well as a valid password to authenticate with EDEN to gain access to the EDEN Portal and EDEN applications. Personal data can be updated at any time in the Edit Profile section of the EDEN Portal website.
This personal data is stored in a database hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency and is used to identify the EDEN website user in relation to environmental reporting activities such as licensing. The personal data is not distributed to any other organisations or third parties.
EDEN websites are secured by a SSL certificate and are hosted on secure infrastructure to prevent the unauthorised retrieval of personal data.
